We are creative creatures learning to balance our self discoveries. With open awareness and a mindful acknowledgment, of our spiritual transformation expressed through the process of art journaling and creating mix media art. Our bible explorations (the word) along with our world explorations (modern images) are two components of our daily lives that coexist. It is said that light cannot live in darkness. Curious Girls ask the question how do we keep our light? How do we live in love, peace, and all things righteousness made from God when the reality is that darkness is amongst us at all times.
We ask questions and explore our modern world because we want to be knowledgeable of our social systems and their impact. If we are to be God's light and help each other we must be aware of the hurt. Reading the bible, exploring God's message for our lives is how we keep our light and become a lighthouse for others. We cannot battle darkness without the powerful spiritual strength of our Lord and Savior - all wisdom found in the Bible.
This Process of Becoming (light/a lighthouse) is a very personal process codependent on your faithfulness to have a personal one to one relationship with God. Curious Girls come in all shapes, ages, ethnicity and social backgrounds. Where we are the same is our mindful desire to glorify God's name with our creative spirit without losing focus on why we create - to honor the one who first created us to be Curious Girls - OUR GOD!

28 The angel came to her and said
“Greetings! The Lord has blessed
you and is with you.”
30 The angel said to her, “Don’t be
afraid, Mary; God has shown you
his grace. 31 Listen! You will become
pregnant and give birth to a son, and
you will name him Jesus.
Exploration Questions:
When an angel delivers God's message to you
how do you normally respond... with fear, doubt,
worry? What does God expect for us to do when
he guides us with the angels he places in our life?
What are the consequences of believing or doubting God's message? Are you open to receive his message and live your life upon his will or do you still hold tight that you are in control of your destiny?
